Whether for routine maintenance treatments or to correct a problem, our line of spa products will meet all your needs.

Summer Smiles’
Spa Routine
in 3 Steps

Our routine category includes all the products you need to take care of your spa, all year round. By following these three easy steps and testing the quality of your water at least once a week with water test strips or test fluids, you can be sure to maintain crystal-clear water at any given time.

Step 1

A balanced pH is essential to maximize the effectiveness of the treatments you apply to your spa. Starting your routine treatment by adjusting the pH will ensure the success of the other steps!

Step 2

By using our SPA CHLOR or SPA BROMA sanitizing products regularly, you prevent the proliferation of bacteria, germs, viruses, moss and any living microorganisms in general.

For an effective treatment, it’s important to respect basic principles such as water filtration and circulation, as well as the regular addition of a sanitizer according to the recommended dosages on the instructions of the product you are using.

Step 3

You want to prevent your water from becoming cloudy? Don’t worry, all you have to do is regularly remove the organic waste at the source of this problem. Organic waste continually accumulates in your spa. Mainly, it comes from the people using the spa (sweat residues, creams or beauty products).

Additionally, organic waste combines with free chlorine to form chloramine (combined chlorine). This phenomenon is responsible for the pronounced smell of chlorine, red eyes and irritated skin, as well as the irritation of the respiratory tract.

Using one of Summer SmilesTM‘ SPA SHOK treatments will allow you to quickly dissolve even the finest particles of organic waste and chloramines in your spa water. Also, don’t forget good maintenance practices such as cleaning your spa and filter regularly to remove organic waste.

Our solution products allow you to solve any potential problems that may arise from the water in your spa. Most problems with spa water are generally caused by unbalanced water that makes conditions favourable for their development in the first place.

Unbalanced Water

Unbalanced spa water is caused by not maintaining the 3 main water parameters at the proper levels—pH, alkalinity and hardness. This issue must be resolved as quickly as possible. Unbalanced spa water can become corrosive and attack the spa’s mechanics which can cause scaling of your equipment.

Our balancing products, SPA pH+, SPA pH-, SPA ALKA+, SPA ALKA-, SPA CALCIUM+ will help you to maintain the balance of your spa water for a pleasant and safe spa experience.

Cloudy Water

Cloudy water can either be caused by unbalanced water, from a high level of organic waste in the water or from failure with your spa’s water circulation system (clogged filter or insufficient filtration).

Our SPA SHOK, SPA SHOK ULTRA 3 IN 1 and SPA CLARITA ULTRA 4 IN 1 products will help you quickly eliminate the appearance of cloudy water. However, be sure to identify and solve the problem at the source to prevent it from becoming a recurring situation!

Presence of Metals

Corrosion of pipes, pumps, and other spa components is all part of the natural life cycle of your installation, but over time can contribute to the presence of dissolved metals in the water.

Iron and copper are the most commonly found metals. Their presence in the water becomes a concern when they adhere to or stain the surfaces of your spa. Fortunately, our SPA STAIN OUT and SPA CLARITA 4 IN 1 products allow you to solve this issue effectively and without having to worry.

Presence of Foam

Unbalanced water with a low-calcium level is often the main cause of foaming in spa water. Organic waste from bathers such as oils, lotions, soaps, and sunscreens can also cause foaming problems.

Thankfully, foaming is an easily manageable inconvenience. Just use our SPA FOAM OUT product and you’re done!

Presence of Mineral Deposits

Mineral deposits in your spa are often caused by water that is too rich in minerals and calcium. The SPA MINERAL OUT solution is ideal for dislodging calcium residues in your pipes and equipment

Hard of Soft Water

Hard water is water that naturally contains a lot of minerals such as limestone. Often, where you live determines the nature of the water: soft or hard. Excessively hard water can lead to limescale deposits in the spa and its plumbing, cloudy water and damage to the water circuits. On the other hand, water that is too soft is also problematic as it can cause foaming in your spa.

React quickly! If the water is too hard, replace some of the water in your spa with fresh water. To solve water that is too soft, simply add SPA CALCIUM+ to your spa water.
