To increase the calcium hardness in spa water, use SPA CALCIUM +. This product helps balance calcium hardness to prevent corrosion of metal surfaces, protect spa equipment, and improve bather comfort. Its liquid formula is specifically designed for spas and dissolves quickly and completely.

Cloudy spa water is often caused by chemical imbalance, organic debris buildup, or poor filtration. Start by checking and adjusting water parameters, clean the filter and cartridges, and use a clarifier if the water remains cloudy to restore clear water.

Here is the recommended product: SPA CLARITA

To properly open your spa, remove the cover and clean the spa shell and cartridges. Fill the spa with clean water and start the filtration system. Test the water and adjust pH, alkalinity, and calcium hardness, then sanitize it. Allow the water to circulate for a few hours before the first use.

SHOCK TREATMENT

The Soft spa product is specially formulated with different boron compounds, such as boric acid and borax, to improve bather comfort. It works in two ways. First, it helps maintain the pH at an ideal level to maximize the effectiveness of sanitizing products. Second, Soft provides a silky feel on the skin and helps reduce skin and eye irritation.

If your spa water is too alkaline, test the water to confirm the level. The recommended range is 100 to 150 ppm. Add an alkalinity reducer in small amounts, run the filtration system, and test until the recommanded level is reached.

SPA ALKA-

The recommended spa temperature for most healthy adults is between 100 °F and 102 0160°F (38-39 0160°C). The safe maximum limit is 104 °F (40 °C) to prevent overheating, dehydration, and cardiovascular stress.

For more details, we recommend consulting your spa’s user manual.

No. While non-chlorine shock treatments, such as SALT SHOK ULTRA and SHOK ULTRA, can help break down organic matter, keep the water clear, and reduce sanitizer use, a chlorine- or bromine-based sanitizer must still be used. Maintaining recommended sanitizer levels is essential to prevent the growth of bacteria, algae, or biofilms.

Biofilm is an invisible, slimy layer formed by micro-organisms such as bacteria or algae that attach to the surfaces of your spa. These micro-organisms produce a protective coating that acts like a fortress. This protection helps them resist the commonly used sanitizing products.

Where does biofilm hide?
Biofilm is not always visible to the naked eye. In a spa, it often develops inside the plumbing and jets, where water circulates but cleaning is more difficult

Why is it a problem?
– It reduces the effectiveness of your maintenance products
– It can impact water quality
– It contributes to cloudy water or unpleasant odors
– It can create a slippery feeling on surfaces

Solution
A deep cleaning of the plumbing lines is recommended during water changes. Using a specialized product such as SPA FLUSH OUT or the SPA DRAIN ULTRA Kit helps effectively remove accumulated deposits inside the plumbing system.
